Last week saw Viceroy drop his new song “Improvise” that features Tom Aspaul. Throughout, the lyrics state that you should “throw something together” and that is clearly what Viceroy has done with this awesomely catchy song. The summer-induced track has certainly been making some waves with over 70,000 plays on SoundCloud, and 35,000 streams on Spotify.

It brings some serious 70’s disco vibes, yet making it new and current with some classic house. The mixture spins the whole song into an incredible summer anthem that will stick in your mind all day.

It’s not easy to take a dated genre and make it new, refreshing it entirely; yet, Viceroy has done exactly that, proving he is one of the DJs to watch. Disco will never make a return to the mainstream, but this classic house twist may help it rise once again in a whole new form.

Featured vocals come from Tom Aspaul, who has a distinct crisp to his voice that oozes summer in every way. He was an ideal choice to sing this song, accompanying the track perfectly.

“Improvise” is out now, available to download and stream. It was released under Dim Mak Records.
