Martin Jensen is the Danish DJ global chart sensation. He’s latest single “Stolen Dance” has had us all hitting that replay button. He’s international fame has quickly launched him into one of the most talked about DJs around at the moment, with many festivals and venues planning to book him for their shows.

This has been a long time coming for this DJ, who has over ten years experience of being a club DJ, specifically in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. It wasn’t until 2014 that he slowly became a viral hit, gaining millions of fans on Facebook, this was due to him using funny segments of viral videos and transforming them into a tropical house mix.

This launched his first single “Sí” which uses Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration at the 2014 FIFA Ballon d’Or. This song even managed to chart on Sweden’s Sverigetopplistan Chart at number 55. This was just the start of plenty of chart numbers that followed.

Later, the singles “Night After Night” and “Miracles” were dropped, with the latter charting on Denmark’s Tracklisten at number 26. It was soon followed up with “All I Wanna Do” which charted moderately well in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands.

This certainly helped Martin Jensen expand his reach. Already becoming a known DJ, he managed to strike some major record label deals, whilst still being able to release under the disco:wax label. In the UK, “All I Wanna Do” and “Solo Dance” have been released under 3beat Productions, who has previously released music from Basshunter, Inna, Alexandra Stan, Sigma, Philip George, and Angel City, amongst others. The songs were also released under Polydor, Island, and Ultra Music in various countries.

With the backing of these record labels, Martin Jensen has been able to push “Solo Dance”, and so it’s not a surprise that it has charted so well globally. We’re also sure that the awesome music video, that was directed by Nicholas Tobias Følsgaard and choreographed by Tobias Ellehammer, helped to make this a success. Now, all Martin Jensen has to do, is to follow up “Solo Dance” with an equally popular single.

In April, Martin Jensen was on tour. He kicked it off on 1 April 2017 at Det försvunna DÖMD festival in Linköping, Sweden. He ended his April tours on 30 April 2017 at Bootshaus’ Loonyland event in Cologne, Germany. As we turn to the summer months, you can expect to see Martin Jensen at various festivals around the world including the Forza Festival in Norway, the Bråvalle Festival in Sweden, Smukfest 2017 in Denmark, as well as Lollapalooza Berlin 2017 in Germany, amongst many others.

We suggest you grab your chance to see Martin Jensen this year before the bigger festivals book him in the following years. Having been an established club DJ, we reckon Martin Jensen can guarantee a dancefloor experience that you’ll never want to end. If you’re obsessed with his singles as much as we are, then you’ll know he’s one DJ that you don’t want to miss. We can’t wait to see what he releases next.
