10 Crossover DJs to watch as they fire towards the mainstream

Here is our list of top DJs to watch out for this year! They are rising up fast and are dropping some amazing tracks that you need to check. Be the envy of everyone by discovering these upcoming future stars before anyone else.

10. Pluto

Pluto, at just 16-years-old, is quickly making a name for himself. He recently released “Surface” which features Revve, and has been one of the rising popular young DJs around. Real name Sam Martinsen, he is signed to ICONS/PRMD, and has already got an amazing catalogue on SoundCloud, which are all available to download and stream. He will be appearing at Electric Forest 2017.

9. Indiginis

Making their name known through remixes of popular songs, Indiginis is quickly becoming a DJ act to watch. They recently refreshed Missy Elliott’s “Get Ur Freak On”, totally switching it up and creating something completely new. They have previously remixed songs from “Where Are Ü Now” by Jack Ü and Justin Bieber, to “My Trigger” by Miike Snow. They have collaborated with Blu J and have released a few original tracks. Expect to hear more from Indiginis soon.

8. LCAW

LCAW is a 23-year-old producer and DJ from Munich, Germany. He has a background in classical music, which gives him a whole range of insight into his tracks, giving house music a whole new twist. Real name Leon Weber, he turned to electronic music after his first clubbing experience. He’s remixes of songs from Daughter, Parov Stelar and London Grammar raised his popularity and allowed him to release his original music just last year. He recently released “Man In The Moon” that features Dagny, which excites us for new upcoming music from him. He is set to perform at Ikarus Festival 2017 and Docklands 2017.

7. Element

Element is a New York producer who works as a tech developer during the day. He is originally from San Francisco mixing up the culture and the lines of music from both sides of the coast. Element, real name Chis Cruz, is destined for success; he’s recent release was a collaboration with Coolights and features NKOLO titled “Show U” which was a full-out electronic track with R&B-infused vibes.

6. TastyTreat

Just as this name suggests, you are going to be grateful you’ve stumbled across their music. TastyTreat are a Los Angeles-based production duo, consisting of John Smith and Devin Hardy, who have released two EPs in the last year showcasing their versatility. They have had plenty of international praise and have worked with various artists including Kid Lizard, Marco Foster, Malcolm Anthony, and KRNE. The duo are building their career, releasing infectious electronic and trap music, that we all can’t get enough of.

5. Slumberjack

This Australian duo consists of producers Morgan Then and Fletcher Ehlers, they have been doing well down under, selling out tours and gigs. They recently released their own merchandise which includes jackets, caps, and stickers. In April, they will go on tour in Australia and New Zealand titled The Fracture Tour, the special guest on the tour is Kuren. The tour’s name comes from their most-recent single called “Fracture” which was released in January and has over a million Spotify plays, it features vocals from Vera Blue. Their biggest song to date is “Enigma” which features GRRL PAL; it gained global praise and definitely helped to launch their career.

4. Kav Verhouzer

Kav Verhouzer is one DJ that is on the rise, some of his tracks have had over a million plays on SoundCloud. On Spotify, his top track is his collaboration with Sam Feldt titled “Hot Skin”, which has over 12 million Spotify plays. He’s one that is definitely making international waves; originally from The Netherlands’ city ‘s-Hertsogenbosch, he’s real name is Kasper Vrielink. He has been producing music for years, and he is now getting the recognition he deserves. We expect a big hit from him soon that will launch him internationally. He’s latest release is the deep house track “Shot Me Down” which featured MODD.

 3. DeVault

If you haven’t heard of DeVault yet, where have you been? He’s remix of Rihanna’s “Sex With Me” was included on her remix EP. He has also remixed songs from AlunaGeorge, K.I.D, and Travis Scott. His addictive trap sound is quickly launching his career, becoming a sought-out DJ. He has released original music, most notable was his collaboration with StéLouse titled “All I Need” which has over 600,000 plays on SoundCloud. His follow-up single “Nothing New” has three million Spotify plays.

2. Boehm

If there is one DJ who is definitely making a path to the top, it’s Boehm. He is a Romanian DJ whose real name is Alex Constantin. He has gone on to collaborate with Steve Aoki that secured his placing in this top 10, what with their collaborative single, titled “Back 2 U”, being played over 35 million times on Spotify. He’s most recent release is “Let’s Give It A Shot” which features Brandyn Burnette, the song is an upbeat dance track that we are obsessed with. With connections like Steve Aoki, Boehm has a bright future ahead of himself.

1. Nora En Pure

Topping this list is Nora En Pure, who has been lighting the dance floor with her DJ sets for years. Last year, she had her own residency at the world’s largest club, Privilege in Ibiza. She has plenty of upcoming events, including Coachella and Hangout Festival. Her biggest hit to date is “Come With Me” which has over 15 million Spotify plays. She has released many singles and EP’s, her latest of which is titled “Conquer Yosemite”. She’s ready for international success and is hitting every event that she can. She’s our number one DJ to look out for in 2017 and you’ll thank us later when you discover her awesome tracks and remixes.
