KATO, real name Thomas Kato Vittrup, is a Danish DJ and music producer who has been successful since 2010; when he released a single titled “Turn The Lights Off” which featured vocalist Jon, full name Jon Nørgaard, who won the second series of the Danish version of Popstars.

Since then he has had hit song after hit song, two of which made it to the top of Denmark’s Singles Chart – “Sjus” which featured Ida Corr, Camille Jones, and Johnson; and “Dimitto (Let Go)” which was a collaboration with Safri Duo and featured Bjørnskov.

Having been a DJ for over a decade with incredible releases throughout the years, KATO has been building his career in the music industry ever since he started out. He has remixed plenty of tracks and has proven himself as a producer.

Now he’s preparing for international success. He recently released a new single titled “Show You Love” which is a collaboration with Sigala and features vocals from Hailee Steinfeld. It is apparently the first single of many to be released from his upcoming international album, which he plans to release later in 2017.

This album will become his fifth album overall. His previous albums have gone on to have success in Denmark, selling over 40,000 albums to date with over 40 platinum and gold certifications. He has worked with some of the biggest Danish stars, as well as internationally-known stars Shontelle and Snoop Dogg.

With this new release, KATO has set his sights on the UK and the rest of the world, having already succeeded in hitting it big in Scandinavia. We’re ready for KATO to storm our lives this summer, are you?
