Egg in London continues to push boundaries and introduce an ever-innovative string of events. Not always aimed at presenting the biggest brands but entities that bring something a little different to the table. Egg aligns with underground heroes Unusual Suspects for a pop-up party of epic proportion as announced by the promoters of the Ibiza brand, earlier this year, that is starting to surface across the global calendar.

Returning to London to celebrate the Easter fiesta, keeping away from mainstream DJs and instead showcasing underground international DJs; Unusual Suspects intended to bring music from the white isle to the UK capital; and, that is exactly what they did.

To launch a new brand that holds genuine musical integrity and create monumental waves from the instant you open the doors is never an easy feat for many promoters. Not so for the Unusual Suspects team, setting an instantly recognised identity with a clearly defined marketing strategy that consists of good old fashioned team work and presents a reliable calibre of artists known for incredible music; the brand continues to conquer. With a name cleverly borrowed from the infamous neo-noir movie of legendary status openly compliments and highlights Ibiza’s current underground champion.

Although a relatively new entity in the clubbing stakes, the actual driving force behind Unusual Suspects was first initiated many years ago, and their team have remained a long-standing life blood to the island’s best parties from their formative No Name beach parties rolling out Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones and Luciano through to the most sought after invites to the ever-elusive villa parties confined to those in the know or associated with direct DJ networks. Invariably harbouring their underground sensibilities in preference to the Ibiza seasonal standard of fast, formulaic money across the peak summer months the US team relentlessly direct a music policy that flexes both raw and deep muscles across house and techno fields.

Choosing Sankeys Ibiza as their spiritual home and hosting the likes of iconic artists from Carl Craig through to Tini alongside their very own future star and resident Frank Storm expect Unusual Suspects to continue their rapid rise as an Ibiza heavyweight and anywhere globally they choose to pop up, remaining a reliable brand in 2017 and far beyond.

Unusual Suspects arrived in London, on April 15, 2017. With various underground DJs within the line-up, including Oliver Huntemann, Maayan Nidam, Thomas Melchior, Valentino Kanzyani, Janina, Rick Maia, Marina Karamarko, and Frank Storm b2b Federico Grazzini.
