IMS is a not so secret industry event filled with a cognitive music fraternity, it’s fans and followers. Interspersed with talks, features and events it has become an integral lynchpin for connecting our modern club culture. In preference to simply promoting the after party, we felt it best to provide a little insight into something extra special happening this week in Ibiza.

Vitalik Recordings is a veritable Ibiza badge of honour for those those that know and love great music. As a brand that is firmly embedded within the islands thriving club scene, the label has remained both underground and true to it’s roots since its inception. Label boss, Ryan O’Gorman is considered one of the islands most enduring resident DJs and club promoters thanks to his resolute dedication to providing the best parties in parallel to releases from very select artists.

Vitalik has amassed a considerable discography that clearly showcases a refined ear for electronica, programmed from a very deep pool without the reliance on formulaic names, ever. Widely known to deliver a carefully curated roster of top industry talent that is often way ahead of the game you know you’ll be in for something special from the minute the doors are open. This weeks incarnation O’Gorman invites his close label mates and Ibiza stalwarts System Of Survival and Clive Henry to represent the Vitalik sound at the inimitable home of late night misadventures, Pikes.

Part of International Music Summit (IMS) program, this event acts as the defining jewel on the annual IMS crown and culmination at Dalt Vila. As always, expect a vibrant mix of the islands ardent locals and the international music crowd.
