Noisily Festival launched successfully into their 6th year of festival shenanigans, set over the hills and deep into the forest of Leicestershire.  Noisily, sets the precedent for micro-festivals around the world, providing an intimate affair where attendees leave with a community of lifelong friends following a weekend of motivational memories. The Noisily Festival has successfully grown organically, starting from a few hundred to now close to 4,000 people travelling from across the UK and internationally to party with a purpose in the woods of Leicestershire.

Starting with a bright and beckoning sunrise aptly kissing the local landscaped hills as punters and festival goers arrived, the serene nature of the festival was immediately evident as the people calmly checked in before making their way toward the festival camping site. The chilled out vibe spurred incessantly across the weekend, sharing an amiable selection of visitors and attendees wittingly in the know about this event.

As you enter past the luscious green campsite and colourful flags that line your way to the festival up the hill, you first reach the Mind Body and Soul arena, in our opinion the perfect way to set the intention for the festival activity ahead. Carefully curated by Florence Cannon, this area provides a wealth of wisdom reaching from holistic healers to wisdom keepers from around the world helping to provide balance for attendees. A particular highlight was Anthar Kharana’s Sound Healing and Tobacco Ceremonies, showcasing wisdom from his Columbian lineage and ancestry. This area also provided the ultimate wind-down for the weekend, ending the festivities on a high with a unique Sound Journey provided by Fabio Garces who held a Sonic Enchantment, Lucid Soul Healing and Dance Experience, a fusion of ecstatic dance, sound healing and harmonic music healing.

Similar to entering a brave new world and festival site of Disneyland styled proportion (playfulness not capacity) you are instantly torn between 5 vibrant arena’s of sonic and visual delight, dedicated to providing a blend of some of the best in current electronic music including house, techno, drum n bass and psy-trance, with music from Beardyman, Dominik Eulberg, System 7, Acid Pauli and Michael Mayer to name a few. The variation of music and integrity of the crowd shone throughout, moving into a myriad of wonderful experiences like the magical 3 hour set from Acid Pauli, widely known for his Acid Sunday’s sets in Ibiza, bringing an air of mysticism to the depths of the woods, followed by music from Dominik Eulberg and Gabriela Ananda providing beats and unique sounds from the playa at Burning Man, what an epic culmination.

All in all, we happily report this was a unique weekend like no other our well versed team have experienced and we already look forward to the 2018 edition to see how the ever inventive Noisily team trump this amazing happening.
