This week sees the 22nd edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) take place with the world’s finest DJs and thousands of clubbers descending on the Dutch city.
As ever the DJ line ups are as varied as they are vast including the likes of Luke Solomun, Sonny Fodera, Adana Twins, Erick Morrillo, Hardwell, Louie Vega, Riva Starr and 100’s more. But it’s not just about the parties and merriment, there are some significant seminars taking place discussing every aspect the electronic business market.
This annual event celebrates a full five-day electronic music conference incorporating a festival and is held mid-October each year to signify the end of the European Clubbing summer and return the focus back to business. Now ADE is considered the biggest club festival of its kind in the world and invites over 2000 artists performing at around 120 of the best clubs in Amsterdam.
This is not only about hardcore meetings by industry insiders but an active collaboration between innovators, influencers, start-ups, labels, DJs and clubbers with a range of interactive events and talks crowned by some of the best parties on offer …. hence the phrase #amsterdamaged as each and every day is full of activities for networking, learning, business and socialising, a surefire ‘must attend’ calendar event.
