One half of the duo, Martin, first began the writing process for this single when he produced a sketch of the music for lyrics and melodies to be crafted around. From this, the pair worked in the studio together, writing, recording, arranging and coming up with new ideas for the track before it blossomed into its idyllic final version. Serving as the very first release for the pair, ‘Lost In You,’ provides the perfect foundation for Deep magnetic to build their discography upon – a track which truly encapsulates the essence of the group and gives us just a taste of what’s to come from Deep Magnetic.
Deep Magnetic are a captivating musical duo hailing from Surrey, UK. Freshly established, they’re on the ascent, painting their sonic canvas across Melodic Trance, Progressive Trance, EDM, and Melodic Techno genres. They share an unwavering affinity for the vintage soul of analog recording gear, particularly their cherished vintage reel-to-reel tape machines which infuse their sound with a nostalgic essence. The pair began earlier in 2023 when Martin, one half of the duo, shared a handful of concept instrumentals with Kristiana. From this, Kristiana put pen to paper and paired the tracks with her unique lyricism and melodic intricacies – this inexplicably led to the revelation of an undeniable musical connection between the two. Sharing so many artistic aspirations and a similar musical palette created a productive momentum which showed no signs of slowing; Deep magnetic set themselves an ambitious goal of releasing a complete album by the end of 2023. With a nod to the past and an ear for innovation, Deep Magnetic crafts a sound that’s both timeless and cutting-edge.

In early 2023, we joined forces with a singular and passionate goal: to create, produce, and share our unique brand of melodic trance music with the world. Our partnership represents a shared vision for crafting music that we’re hoping will resonate with listeners on a deep emotional level.
Deep Magnetics’ Creative Output:
Since the inception of our musical journey under the name “deep magnetic”, we’ve been on a creative journey. Our dedication and collaboration have resulted in the composition of 15 new tracks which are going to be released in the upcoming months. These tracks show our commitment to crafting music that’s not only rhythmically engaging but also melodically captivating.
Track Progression:
Out of the 15 tracks, 5 are now fully completed and ready for release. These tracks have undergone extensive work, from composition to production, ensuring they meet the high standards set by Martin and Kristiana. The remaining tracks are on the cusp of reaching their full potential and are in the final stages of mixing and mastering. This approach to music creation ensures that every deep magnetic release is captivating.

Were you connected with music from a young age and did anyone inspire you?
Kristiana’s Genre Influences:
My musical journey began with classical influences, a natural consequence of my early training in classical music. As I was growing up, I started to listen to electronic music genres which is where my musical passion truly ignited. As a teen I also began being interested in writing original music and enjoyed collaborating with like-minded individuals.
Martin’s Genre Influences:
My musical journey took a significant turn during my late teenage years, specifically between the ages of 16 and 17, which coincided with the late 80s and early 90s. When I attended Performing Arts college, I discovered dance music production. It inspired me to start writing electronic music and explore different musical ideas that fit within the dance music category. Writing this music further shaped my musical tastes and inspirations.
Tell us more about your sound and how it’s evolved over time
Initially, Martin’s musical journey was steeped in the rich traditions of heavy breakbeat, rave, and trance influences. Kristiana was more influenced by electronic dance and trance music. In the past year, since “deep magnetic” was created, the sound has changed, and the tracks are now heavily influenced by Melodic Trance and Progressive House genres which we both really enjoy.
Any words you want to share to encourage other artists or producers?
When embarking on a collaborative effort, it’s essential to have a clear understanding of communicating what we aim to accomplish. Being open-minded and trying out new ideas is key for us. We both believe that success often relies on diligence and determination. It is important to commit 100%

Everything! Think of music as your emotional translator. It’s like having a conversation without words, where melodies and rhythms become the sentences and paragraphs of your feelings. Whether you’re bubbling with joy, sinking in sadness, drowning in love or lost in nostalgia, music has this ability for diving deep into your soul and pulling out the emotions you sometimes struggle to express. It’s the bridge that connects your innermost emotions with the world, allowing you to share your heart’s language when words alone just won’t do the job.

Tell us more about your plans for the future
We are aiming to complete and finish our first album by mid next year. We are potentially thinking of expanding and splitting our musical offerings into 3 further categories which are deeper / chilled trance, Melodic Trance and House / Tech House as the music we create is quite diverse.
