As one part of the famous nightclubs ‘fabric25’ celebrations, Fabric have extended their relationship with Martin Audio by announcing a substantial upgrade to their flagship Room 1.
The upgrade will involve an overhaul of the Martin Audio W8C system and the installation of more subwoofers.
Tech Manager Matt Smith commented “unanimous that we should renovate in order to retain our signature Martin Audio sound and preserve what is quite a historic installation,”
He continued to state –
“The new system delivers a lot more power, and with the power availability of the new amps, we’re never going to get near peaking, It’s very clean, tight and punchy, but it’s not about volume for us, we want to keep it sounding good rather than loud.”
This upgrade comes just in time for the club’s 25th birthday, which will be marked with a colossal 30-hour, non-stop party taking place across October 12 to October 14 with sets from Ricardo Villalobos, Sedef Adasï, FJAAK, Ben UFO as well as fabric residents Craig Richards, Josh Caffé and Anna Wall, with more to be announced.
