Here we welcome Jhonatan also known as Engello Doll, an independent music producer based in Los Angeles, California.
Explain what musical genre fits you best
My roots and the music I been influenced by the most is rock music, but also trance in my teenage era, so it’s been rooted absolutely within alternative electronic.
Were you connected with music from a young age and did anyone inspire you?
I was attracted to the entertainment industry as a teenager. I started to write poems when I was probably 13 or 14, I started to make the words into songs. I’ve been very inspired by rock bands like Linkin Park, The Rasmus, Green Day and big electronic artist as ILangello, Gesaffelstein, Armin Van Buuren, Royksopp and Daft Punk.
What kickstarted your music career?
My huge love for art as a way to express my deep emotions to show everything I need to the world.
Tell us more about your sound and how it’s evolved over time
It’s mostly an alternative experimental electronic sound with aspects of synthwave.
Any words you want to share to encourage other artists or producers?
Don’t be afraid to show your art to the world even to a small fanbase.
How do you nurture your industry relationships?
It’s more based in social media right now, my networking is still growing.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank that’s been crucial to your journey?
My sound engineer Robert Dunne, and Tal, a friend who’s an investor in my studio and vocal sessions.

Linkin Park – At the end, this song singed by Chester a huge remarkable song of the 2000s rock songs, the vocals of Chester are just amazing is voice was so amazing, delicate and aggressive at the same time. The video and the lyrics match perfectly.
Armin Van Buuren – Intense. Armin Van Buuren marked my teens and make me felt in love with the electronic music, the world tour intense was a surreal experience for the trance lovers I watched by YouTube and i literally felt deep in love with electronic music.
What’s your favourite piece of studio equipment or software?
The synths.
Name your favourite club or festival and how it makes you feel
Coachella, I have been twice and I really love it. Everyone gets involved, artists, musicians and fashion and I love all of that.
I think fashion is a way to express yourself and your personality, so as from the beginning it’s been a way to show my identity and personality.
Name an outlandish rider request?
I don’t think I have an extravagant request but I love white wine, and good smell in small rooms.
Favourite clubbing memory and who or what did it involve?
I think it’s Space Miami when I went first in 2022. I love the vibrant city of Miami with all its party lovers in just one place.
What famous quote represents you best?
Don’t give up.
If you could play at any venue, where would it be and why?
Brooklyn Mirage, it’s my favorite club in the world so far. I love the industrial vibe of NY, that authenticity of the the city, its irreverent and I think it matches with me.

What was your first music memory and how did it fuel your fire?
Well this is gonna sound very particular, because even though I don’t believe in any religion and I practice my spirituality in my on way, I grew up in a catholic family and my first memory of falling in love with music was with a Gregorian choir at the church. I felt immediately a sacred and ethereal feeling inside of me, made me realize my huge love for art.
Tell us more about your plans for the future
I have some projects on the way as an independent artist, and hopefully some under some good record labels and collaborators. I’m still new in the industry so my career is quite unpredictable at the moment, but I absolutely have more projects on the way.
Any worldly advice you’d like to share?
Don’t let depression and anxiety stop you from doing things you may love, even if there could be bad experiences, live in it, feel in it, and face it.
