Out now via Rose Avenue/Reprise Records, Vol. 2 broadens the band’s influence as scene curators while highlighting their lasting impact on the genre. The band’s fifth studio album, Inhale / Exhale charted new territory for RÜFÜS DU SOL, deepening their emotional range through an enriched sonic palette. Released in October 2024, the album debuted on the Billboard 200 and secured the band’s first #1 on U.S. dance radio with “Music is Better,” drawing widespread praise from critics and fans alike, and accelerating their rise on a global stage. The band have continued to shatter expectations with their Inhale / Exhale World Tour, the best-selling solo electronic tour in history, which cements the band’s far-reaching influence over the future of the genre.
Contributors to Vol. 2 includes Brazilian heavyweight Vintage Culture, Swiss sonic alchemist Jimi Jules, Berlin-based live act GHEIST, Dutch duo WEVAL, LP Giobbi, Tim Engelhardt, Samm, Deer Jade, Betical, Sean Doron, Eagles & Butterflies, Rafael, Chambord, CS, amongst Rose Avenue signees like Colyn, Kimonos, and Dorian Craft. Vol. 2 also includes Adam Ten and Mita Gami’s ‘Lately’ remix, released last year. The band will continue their record-breaking Inhale / Exhale World Tour this month with sold out shows in Barcelona, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, London, and Rome. The tour will continue into the summer with stops in San Francisco, Denver, and Toronto, and festival appearances at Lollapalooza and Up In The Sky before the band concludes the US leg at Los Angeles’ Rose Bowl Stadium with over 50,000 fans in attendance.
