Agenda-setting Indo Warehouse co-founder Kunal Merchant has teamed up with rising UK rapper Sliime and producer JAGM33T for red-hot new single and much requested ID ‘She Bad,’ which is a deep and dirty house cut with grime vocals and shimmering South Asian textures.

Dropping just ahead of Indo Warehouse’s much-anticipated Boiler Room headline show in London on August 1st, the single is another bold statement of intent from one of the most innovative labels and artists in the game right now. For Kunal, it represents the core ethos of Indo: building bridges between global club sounds and South Asian creative identity. His work as both a producer and cultural connector continues to position the label at the cutting edge of the underground while also hosting events across the world from intimate New York city clubs to sold-out international venues throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia and festivals like Coachella.

At the heart of the record is Sliime, a Sheffield-born rapper of Bangladeshi descent, who’s quickly carving out his own space in UK music. Known for fusing Bengali influences with UK rap and club styles, he’s earned co-signs from Headie One and Tiffany Calver and racked up millions of streams with viral hits like ‘Lehenga.’ JAGM33T rounds out the trio, adding sleek, club-ready production finesse to a track that lands at the intersection of the UK underground, global diasporic sound and South Asian innovation.

On ‘She Bad,’ Sliime effortlessly rides the beat with his signature blend of charisma and cultural duality,  showcasing why he’s one of the most exciting voices out there. The track is built with organic percussion on a fat, low-slung bassline. Sliime’s gritty flow brings UK street energy to the track with sharp-edged bars about an island girl with attitude. The South Asian strings that subtly weave through the production nod to Kunal’s heritage and add cultural richness.

‘She Bad’ is another huge moment from Kunal and Indo Warehouse ahead of an unmissable Boiler Room show in London.
