Set against the atmospheric altitude of the mountains, ‘Alpine Air’ opens a bold new chapter for breakthrough electronic artist N1NJA with the launch of her new label, ‘Tales Of Twilight’. Set for release on September 19th, ‘Alpine Air’ has already picked up support from BBC Radio 1’s Jaguar.

Born from a deep connection to the rhythms of nature and the raw energy of speed, ‘Alpine Air’ captures the contrast of stillness and movement found in the mountains. The record is woven from N1NJA’s own field recordings of snowmobiles and skis carving at full throttle through the Alps, blending together expansive, emotive synths to evoke a sonic reflection of the limitless mindset and freedom felt in the mountains. The track marks the first release on her new label ‘Tales Of Twilight’, a home for storytelling through the elements and the energy they ignite.

‘Alpine Air’ also features a remix from SIS, along with a unique breathwork version available in Dolby Atmos, narrated by N1NJA and designed as a single-breath journey that ties symbolically to its catalogue number, 001.

On the launch of Tales Of Twilight, N1NJA comments:

“Tales of Twilight was born from a desire to create a space where sound and storytelling meet the primal pulse of nature. It’s a portal for dreamers, adventurers, and explorers to enter the ultimate flow state where music becomes a vehicle for introspection, elevation, and expansion, both on and off the dance floor. Each release is a chapter in an unfolding journey, guided by the moon and rooted in ancestral wisdom, inviting every listener to be a co-pilot in the path that unfolds.”

Farah Nanji, known artistically as N1NJA, has carved a distinctive space at the intersection of music and motorsport. With music as her yin and racing as her yang, her creative expression meets technical precision through hypnotic soundscapes of ethnic instruments collected from across the globe that are grounded in her Indian and East African heritage.

Championed by DJ Mag as a “fast-rising, mega-talented star” with impressive supporters such as John Digweed, Sasha, and Laurent Garnier, and packed dancefloors at revered clubs such as Pacha Destino, Space Miami, and the Steelyard. She has released on highly acclaimed labels such as Mobilee, Sounds of Khemit, and Sol Selectas. Beyond music, Farah is a globally recognized curator at IMS, alongside Pete Tong, as well as a motorsports entrepreneur and podcaster. Her journey has been shaped by overcoming Dyspraxia, a motor coordination condition she was diagnosed with as a child. Drawing on the mindset of the samurai, she has explored how to rewire the brain through rhythm and focus, becoming one of the few artists in the world to deliver a TEDx talk on the subject.

Earlier this year, ‘Tales Of Twilight’ introduced itself to the world with an intimate, invite-only launch overlooking Mont Blanc in Val d’Isère. The label will continue to build its presence through a curated series of secret gatherings across key cultural touchpoints, with upcoming gatherings planned in London on 20th September, during Ibiza’s iconic closing season, at ADE in Amsterdam, and back in the Alps in Switzerland.

N1NJA’s ‘Alpine Air’ will be released on September 19th via Tales Of Twilight, and continues to signal the fast-rising and multi-faceted creative as one of electronic music’s most enthralling new talents.
