Internationally acclaimed electronic music pioneer Paul van Dyk marks a landmark moment in his career as his long-running radio show VONYC Sessions reaches its 1,000th episode. The milestone was celebrated with a special, sold-out live event on 24th January in Berlin at the Uber Eats Music Hall, bringing together fans from around the world for a night honouring the enduring spirit of the global dance community.

Since its inception, VONYC Sessions has stood as a vital platform for connection, discovery and storytelling within electronic music. Reaching 1,000 episodes is a testament to Paul van Dyk’s commitment to the scene and to the shared journey between artist and audience that has defined the show across generations. The Berlin celebration fully captured this ethos, uniting the past, present and the future of electronic music.

Paul van Dyk comments:

“VONYC Sessions has always been more than a radio show. For 1,000 episodes, it’s been a weekly meeting point for people who live and breathe electronic music, a space where fans and artists connect, and where new sounds and classic records coexist. This milestone belongs to everyone who’s been listening, discovering, and feeling the music with me.”

Over the years, VONYC Sessions has built a substantial international audience. The show reaches an average of 32,180,000 listeners on air and has over 4 million podcast downloads. Broadcasting on 72 stations worldwide, the program continues to connect fans across different countries, reflecting Paul van Dyk’s ongoing commitment to sharing electronic music with a global audience.

Alongside the milestone event, Paul van Dyk released his new single with Ciaran McAuley, ‘When I Found You’, continuing his tradition of music that resonates both on the dancefloor and beyond. Further expanding his catalogue of releases, Paul’s Nature One Festival Mix is now available on Apple Music. It captures the energy and scale of one of Europe’s most iconic electronic music festivals and showcases his ability to balance peak-time intensity with carefully curated musical journeys.

To kick start 2026, a run of global tour dates has been announced, taking his sound to audiences across continents. The tour builds on his reputation for immersive performances, reinforcing his belief in the power of electronic music to unite people across borders and cultures.

At the core of Paul van Dyk’s artistry remains an unwavering belief in the emotional and human essence of electronic music. Whether through VONYC Sessions, new studio releases or global events, his work continues to centre on connection, authenticity and the shared pulse that defines the modern dance music scene.

Building on his continued presence at the forefront of electronic music and his enduring VANDIT Records legacy, Paul van Dyk continues to evolve, engaging new audiences, while staying true to the values that have shaped his multi-decade career, celebrating the past, embracing the present and looking firmly towards the future.
