The Lisbon Dance Summit now expands that vision into a city-wide platform, built on collaboration and shared responsibility, while remaining deeply connected to the communities that sustain the scene,” mentions Jesper Skibsby, one of the founders”. “Lisbon Dance Summit aims to establish Lisbon as a meeting point for electronic music culture, creating a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and international exchange”, adds Nuno da Silva Carvalho, also co-founder.
According to the founders the LDS mission is to “support talent development through networking and educational opportunities. The mission is to create stronger opportunities for the Portuguese electronic music ecosystem empowering artists, managers, labels, venues, promoters, clubs, professionals and fans through a dedicated week for electronic music.”
