Chinois, long recognised for championing the world’s most influential tastemakers, makes history as the first club on the island to host the debut Ibiza residency of Major League DJz, South African twin brothers Bandile and Banele Mbere, at the forefront of African electronic music’s global rise.
Having previously ignited the Chinois dancefloor, the duo now return to deliver 21 standout Fridays from 29 May to 9 October (guests TBA) with Echoes of Tomorrow a defining new chapter in their global journey.
The Sonic Temple provides the perfect setting for Echoes of Tomorrow, which is more than a club night; it is a powerful, immersive journey through Afro house, deep rhythms, and future-forward sound. As the headline show from Major League DJz, it represents a bold cultural statement, rooted in African heritage yet built for the global stage.

At the heart of the experience stands the Mask of Africa, the powerful symbol that has become the duo’s anchor and a global emblem of African dance music. This summer, the mask finds a new home in Ibiza, carrying the spirit, rhythm, and cultural energy of the continent onto one of the world’s most iconic dancefloors.

Chinois’ sonic temple, rooted in the spirit of Ibiza, welcomes music lovers to its dancefloor-first, inclusive, and diverse community for a fifth season of globally relevant residencies. Set within the Ibiza Gran Hotel in the heart of Marina Botafoch, surrounded by vibrant restaurants and bars and within walking distance of Ibiza Town, Chinois curates a world-class lineup of resident and guest DJs across a wide spectrum of sounds.
