101 Voices is the new and improved Depeche Mode experience. A spectacular live production in which electronic sound, symphonic power and human voices become one.
Berlin’s Uber Arena will host 101 Voices on 16 December 2026, following its sold-out debut to an audience of more than 10,000 people. The show is more than two hours of music, including 28 classic Depeche Mode songs, performed by a symphony orchestra, a 45-man choir, live musicians and singers.
Joining the occasion will also be special guest Christian Eigner, long-time drummer for Depeche Mode, who has performed with the band for more than 25 years. He will be joined by Christian Schottstädt, singer of the respected German Depeche Mode tribute band Forced To Mode.
“This is not a tribute show in the traditional sense. It is a unique concert experience that reveals new layers within the music while remaining faithful to the atmosphere, emotion and spirit that made Depeche Mode legendary.” Richárd Riederauer, conductor and musical director

A Darker Interpretation of Depeche Mode
101 Voices, launched in 2026, draws inspiration from the darker, more atmospheric aspects of Depeche Mode’s ‘Black Celebration’ period. Songs from Black Celebration, Music for the Masses and Violator have been newly arranged with orchestral instrumentation, electronic textures, a large male choir and immersive visuals.
The show combines more than 80 performers to present a whole new take on familiar songs, while keeping the unique atmosphere and emotional character of Depeche Mode.
Christian Eigner – The Authentic Depeche Mode Sound on Stage
Christian Eigner, the official drummer of Depeche Mode, is a major highlight. Eigner debuted live with the band in 1997 and has been a key part of the touring line-up ever since. His presence provides a genuine connection to the sound and energy of Depeche Mode shows.

Orchestra, Choir and Production Team
The creative team comprises conductor and musical director Richárd Riederauer, celebrated drummer, composer and producer Gergő Borlai and pianist, vocalist and Cziffra Award winner Lili Fehér.
The Hungarian National Male Choir, a professional choir of 45 members founded in 1949, will perform with the Hungarian Studio Orchestra and a live rock band will round out the musical bill.
Balázs Petke, Dániel Szabó and György Sallai, who spent more than 10 years developing their vision for a unique Hungarian production with international appeal, developed the project.
