Charlotte de Witte has once again been crowned World’s No. 1 Techno DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, winning the title for the seventh consecutive year. The Belgian superstar has, again, climbed three places up in the overall rankings, moving from No. 9 last year to No. 6 of DJs across all genres.

The results were announced at the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs event at [unvrs] Ibiza on 6th October, hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Sarah Story, who was joined by a performance from Charlotte. The awards, now in their 33rd year, are voted for by global, fully open polls.

Reflecting on her latest win, Charlotte said: “Got voted Best Techno Act at the DJ Mag Awards! This is my seventh year in a row winning this award, and it feels just as special as the first.”

She added: “It is a big confirmation that all the magical moments on the dance floor, and the connections that were made and formed there, are real and very powerful. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for voting and for showing me such continuous love and support.”

With the latest win, Charlotte’s presence around the globe as a DJ and ambassador of techno has been recognised yet again, and she continues to celebrate techno, her fans and club culture.

Dutch designer apparel brand G-STAR has also announced Charlotte as its new Global Brand Ambassador. As part of a multi-year partnership, she will represent G-STAR worldwide as the face of its women’s collection, launched this spring with “Own the Arc” and centred around the return of the iconic Arc jean.

“Charlotte is more than the face of G-STAR, she is a genuine source of inspiration. With her discipline, independence and creative conviction, she reflects the mindset of G-STAR,” said Gwenda van Vliet, G-STAR Chief Brand Officer.

Charlotte will also be returning to Flanders Expo in Ghent in 2027 for a special double-header at the 23,000-capacity venue. Friday 5th February sees “KONNECTED” with Charlotte de Witte, Nico Moreno, NOVAH and Theo Nasa, featuring alternating B2B and solo sets, followed by Charlotte going B2B with KI/KI on Saturday 6th February.
