Explain what musical genre fits you best
I think as of right now I have been producing mostly progressive house/ big room. Those two subgenres of EDM have always been some of my favorites. I love the melodic focus of the two genres and I think that’s what has driven me in that direction. I do have a downtempo song release and I am working on a tropical house track as well; so I definitely do some branching out but yes I think progressive house and big room fits me best for right now.
Were you connected with music from a young age and did anyone inspire you?
Yes, I have always absolutely loved music. I have been listening predominantly to edm for the past ten years so I’ve always had a passion for it. I never realized how much I loved it until I went to my first Ultra in Miami. After that, I just knew that I wanted to start producing music and becoming a DJ.
What kickstarted your music career?
I think the location as to where I started played a big role in it. My main market is Miami which is one of the best places in the world for electronic music. I’ve made some fantastic connections and that really propelled me forward quickly. I still have a ton of work ahead of me but it gave me a nice head start.
Tell us more about your sound and how it’s evolved over time
I think with most new artists, you start by trying to emulate someone. I think my sound started out relatively bland because of that. I’m still refining the sound that I was to consistently produce but I think taking inspiration from multiple different places has really helped me have a better idea of what I want my music to sound like. I’m much happier with where my sound is now compared to when I started.
Any words you want to share to encourage other artists or producers?
Keep pushing. Music is a ton of work but I think if you keep following the passion that got you into it in the first place then it will drive you to keep working towards your dreams and aspirations.
How do you nurture your industry relationships?
By treating them like normal friendships and relationships because that’s what they are. Just because I met someone through my profession doesn’t mean they can’t become good friends/ connections. So act how you would with your friends, and you should go far.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank that’s been crucial to your journey?
Yes I started DJing for a company called Trio when I was just starting out and they really gave me a platform to get started with my career.
Name 3 songs you love and what they mean to you + Youtube links
Martin Garrix feat. Bonn – High On Life
Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso – Calling (Lose My Mind)
Gryffin, Illenium – Feel Good ft. Daya

What’s your favourite piece of studio equipment or software?
Great question. I have two answers. So my basic answer is my laptop/ableton. I wouldn’t be able to do anything without my laptop. My fun answer is a talkbox. I just think those things are so fun to use.
Name your favourite club or festival and how it makes you feel
Favorite festival is Tomorrowland. They’re production is absolutely unreal. Every year they show why they are the best festival in the world. I’ve had some of the best times of my life there.
Name an outlandish rider request?
This is a hilarious question. I’ll give you a rider request that I made that was absolutely pointless. I requested a fuzzy blanket once. When you first think about it, it doesn’t seem that outlandish but once you realize that you are showing up to your dressing room right before you perform in front of a large crowd, why the heck would I need a blanket. What am I gonna do, take a nap before? Obviously not.
Favourite clubbing memory and who or what did it involve?
Everytime I play at LIV, I have the absolute best time performing and then just enjoying myself afterwards. I love that place.
What famous quote represents you best?
“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” -Wayne Gretzky
If you could play at any venue, where would it be and why?
