It’s the grand finale for Vega Discoteque in Gallipoli — the only club in Puglia ranked among DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs. After another unforgettable summer, Vega continues to cement its reputation as a benchmark for Salento’s nightlife, drawing crowds from all over Italy and abroad.

The last two dates on Vega’s summer calendar are set: Saturday, August 30 with Mamacita — the Saturday night devoted to reggaeton, hip hop, and R&B in collaboration with the renowned international format — and Tuesday, September 2 with I Martedì del Villaggio, a night that has fostered one of the most loyal and tightly knit communities in the scene.

“Nightlife is culture, not just entertainment – says David Cicchella, owner of Vega Discoteque –  Innovation and entrepreneurship, when paired with passion and the ability to generate emotion, are the keys to keeping alive a strong ecosystem that still has so much to offer future generations. I always believed that clubs would find their own space, and that’s why I chose to invest in this vision”.

This summer, Vega has hosted a star-studded lineup, including Andrea Damante, Artie 5ive, Capoplaza, Gabry Ponte, Jimmy Sax, Shiva, and Tony Effe throughout August.

Born in 2021 — right in the middle of the pandemic — Vega Discoteque is the brainchild of entrepreneurs David Cicchella and Andrea Giorgio Romano, who immediately turned it into more than just a nightclub. Nestled in a vast open-air space with strong Salento vibes — exposed stone, lush greenery, the sea just a few steps away, and an unmistakable coastal breeze — Vega stands out for its cutting-edge VOID Acoustics sound system, festival-grade stage with laser effects, LED walls, pyrotechnics, and a newly redesigned garden area unveiled this season.

Growing year after year, Vega now attracts over 100,000 guests per season, with a rapidly expanding social community — fueled by Twitch live streams from the iconic Casetta Vega and a vibrant Instagram presence. Its programming consistently features the biggest names in the urban and electronic music scenes, from Gabry Ponte, Geolier, Guè, Tony Effe, Jimmy Sax, Gemitaiz, Morten, Jeff Mills, Damante, Luca Agnelli, to Chris Liebing.

Vega Discoteque acts like a club but thinks like a festival.
