Three years after the events that sparked widespread protests across Iran, the atmosphere of reflection, resilience, and hope continues to resonate far beyond its borders. In moments like these, music often becomes a powerful emotional outlet, a way to process, connect, and express what words alone cannot.
Iranian DJ and producer Human Rias, alongside collaborator Xashes, release “This Is The End”, a deeply emotional electronic track shaped by this backdrop, blending tension, release, and a sense of collective strength. The collaboration has already received early support from leading electronic artists including Tiësto, David Guetta, Korolova, and more. As Iran stands once again at a historic crossroads, “This Is The End” arrives as a rallying cry, for remembrance, resistance, and the belief that freedom cannot be erased.
In 2023, during the height of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, Human Rias played a pivotal role in amplifying global awareness through his rendition of the protest anthem “Baraye,” later remixed by electronic heavyweights including Victor Ruiz and Jan Blomquist. That moment carried a rare and fragile optimism.
“Back then, Iranians inside the country and all around the world were overwhelmed with hope,” Rias recalls. “We truly believed freedom was within reach, that the fall of the regime would end decades of suffering.”
It was during this emotional peak that “This Is The End” was written. However, the track remained unreleased. Now, in 2026, history echoes louder than ever. Human Rias and Xashes have chosen this moment to finally release the track, not as coincidence, but as defiance.
“We’re releasing this song as a sign that we stand with the people of Iran,” says Rias. “A sign of our hope, that this time, this really will be the end of their suffering. That this is the end of dictatorships all around the world.”
