Multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Anna Calvi has been announced as a keynote guest at the Green Events & Innovations Conference (GEI) 2026, taking place on 24 February 2026 at the Royal Lancaster London. Joining the already confirmed David Gray, Calvi will appear as part of GEI’s flagship EarthPercent Hour – a cornerstone session of the world’s leading conference dedicated to sustainability, innovation and climate action within the live events industry.

Taking place on 24 February 2026 at the Royal Lancaster London, GEI’s flagship EarthPercent Hour will bring Calvi and Gray together with host Cathy Runciman, Co-Executive Director of EarthPercent – the charity founded by Brian Eno – for an in-depth conversation titled Unleashing the Power of Music in Service of the Planet. The session will explore musical journeys, creativity, community, and the growing role artists play in environmental responsibility.

EarthPercent Hour has become a defining moment within the GEI programme, previously welcoming influential voices such as Brian Eno, Jarvis Cocker, Moby, Aurora, Jacob Collier and Declan McKenna. Reflecting on this year’s edition, Cathy Runciman described the session as “a vital moment for artists and the industry to come together and use music, creativity and influence in support of our planet,” adding that she is particularly excited to explore what matters most to Calvi and Gray in the current global landscape.

Beyond the keynote conversation, GEI 2026 offers a wide-ranging programme combining insight, performance and practical solutions for a more sustainable events industry. Delegates will also experience live performances from Tobias Turley (MAMMA MIA!), currently starring in the award-winning pop musical Hot Mess, and Katarina Barruk, known for her collaboration with Bicep on the immersive audiovisual project TAKKUUK, performed in the critically endangered Ume Sámi language.

Food and culture remain central to the conference experience, with a complimentary five-star vegan lunch and the return of GEI’s Booze & Balls Closing Drinks, featuring Devil’s Kitchen plant-based offerings. Elsewhere, the Beyond the Burger Van session will examine the future of sustainable festival catering, drawing on insights from Belgium’s Paradise City and hosted by plant-based food and sustainability advocate Clare Every.

Additional speakers include naturalist and broadcaster Chris Packham CBE and Ecotricity founder Dale Vince OBE, who will discuss nature protection and activism, alongside industry voices addressing climate adaptation, touring emissions, accessibility, recycling, AI in live events, and even the environmental impact of toilet infrastructure.

A partnership between A Greener Future (AGF) and the International Live Music Conference (ILMC), GEI continues to position itself as the leading global forum for event sustainability. With Anna Calvi now joining its growing list of luminaries, the 2026 edition promises to be one of its most inspiring yet.

GEI is a partnership between A Greener Future (AGF) and the International Live Music Conference (ILMC), and is supported by sponsors including Ecotricity Business, TAIT, AEG and The O2.
