Two of techno’s most influential figures, Chris Liebing and Charlotte de Witte, have joined forces once again for a powerful new collaborative release, Symphonie des Seins, out now via Liebing’s long-running imprint CLR.
The track marks the duo’s second collaboration following their 2019 release Liquid Slow and arrives as the latest preview of Liebing’s forthcoming Evolver project, set to land later this month.
Blending the distinct sonic identities of both artists, Symphonie des Seins channels a raw, acid-driven techno energy inspired by the spirit of mid-1990s rave culture while maintaining a sharp contemporary edge. De Witte delivers a hypnotic spoken vocal layered over Liebing’s relentless production, creating a track that balances psychedelic intensity with dancefloor precision.
The spoken vocal elements are drawn from hallucinogenic trip reports discovered by Liebing online, adding a surreal narrative layer to the driving techno framework. The result is a powerful meeting point between two artists whose careers emerged from different eras of the scene but converge seamlessly in the studio.
Symphonie des Seins also serves as the final single ahead of Liebing’s upcoming 13-track LP Evolver, scheduled for release on 27 March 2026. The album will feature additional collaborations with prominent techno artists including Luke Slater, Speedy J, The Advent, Terence Fixmer, Pascal Gabriel, and Daniel Miller as part of the Alte Stuben Modular Ensemble.
The release follows Liebing’s recent Roy Batty EP and marks his first solo techno-focused LP after exploring more expansive electronic directions on Burn Slow (2018) and Another Day (2023), both created alongside composer Ralf Hildenbeutel.
With Symphonie des Seins, Liebing and de Witte deliver a striking collaboration that merges classic techno intensity with modern production power – offering a glimpse of the sonic direction Liebing will explore further on Evolver.
