BBC To Broadcast Calvin Harris Live From Scotland To Audiences Across The UK

The BBC and Sony Music Vision will join Scottish DJ, producer and global superstar Calvin Harris at Hampden Park on Saturday 1 August, bringing his highly anticipated homecoming show to audiences across the UK. The spectacular live performance will be broadcast exclusively on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 1, Radio 1 Dance and BBC Sounds, with coverage produced by BBC Studios Music Productions.

Taking to the stage at one of Scotland’s biggest stadiums, Calvin Harris will deliver a career-spanning set packed with era-defining hits and spectacular production. Capturing the energy, scale and emotion of a truly unforgettable homecoming, the gig will be a celebration of Calvin Harris’ extraordinary musical journey and a landmark moment for one of Scotland’s most iconic and successful artists. Audiences at home will be able to experience every moment across TV, radio and digital platforms.

The concert will broadcast on Saturday 1 August on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1 Dance and BBC Sounds.

Ahead of the main event, viewers can also enjoy an evening of world-class dance music on BBC iPlayer from 6:30pm, featuring highlights from Radio 1 in Ibiza the night before and building anticipation for Calvin Harris’ landmark Glasgow performance.

BBC Music has supported Calvin Harris throughout his career, from early performances at Radio 1 in Ibiza through to seven appearances at Radio 1’s Big Weekend, including performances in Glasgow in 2014 and his headline set at Big Weekend in Coventry in 2022.

Calvin Harris: Live from Scotland forms part of the BBC’s Summer of Music 2026, bringing audiences an unmissable season of live performances, exclusive music content, landmark documentaries, festival coverage and special programming.

The BBC’s Summer of Music highlights include exclusive performances from Charli xcx and Sam Smith, with more artists to be announced, alongside new documentaries celebrating music icons including Madonna, Wham! and David Bowie. Audiences can also enjoy coverage from some of the UK’s most-loved festivals and live music events, including Radio 1 at Reading & Leeds, 1Xtra Salutes Carnival, Radio 2 in the Park, the BBC Proms, Boomtown, Radio 1 in Ibiza and Radio 1 in Malta.

Calvin Harris’ special homecoming performance from Hampden Park will be available on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 1, Radio 1 Dance and BBC Sounds from Saturday 1 August.
