Brunch Electronik Festival brought its fourth edition to a close after welcoming 65,000 attendees to Parc del Fòrum on 7, 8 and 9 August. Over three days, more than 90 artists transformed Barcelona into one of Europe’s leading electronic music hubs.
Local audiences accounted for 80% of attendees, a figure that reaffirmed the festival’s deep roots in Barcelona and its close relationship with the city’s community.
The 2026 edition combined a first-class international programme with support for emerging and local talent, new stage designs and a series of improvements focused on sustainability, accessibility and audience wellbeing.
With its licence at Parc del Fòrum renewed until 2028, Brunch Electronik Festival confirmed its commitment to continuing to grow from its Barcelona base and to developing an event that remains closely connected to its surroundings and community.
“This edition consolidates a festival model that we have been building for years: a first-class music programme, deeply connected to Barcelona, and an increasingly refined experience for our attendees. Welcoming more than 65,000 people for the third consecutive year, with over 80% of the audience coming from the local community, confirms that the festival continues to grow without losing its essence. The excellent feedback we have received about the improvements to the sound and all the measures introduced to support audience wellbeing—including shaded areas, ice-cold water stations and misting systems—encourages us to continue focusing on delivering an outstanding experience for everyone attending.”

The programme covered virtually the entire spectrum of contemporary electronic music, from house and hard techno to melodic sounds, minimal and live performances.
Kaytranada, who delivered his only performance on the Iberian Peninsula this year, Jeff Mills, Miss Monique and Paul Kalkbrenner were among the highlights of the opening day. On Saturday, attention turned to Deborah de Luca’s extended set, Luciano, Floating Points, Anfisa Letyago, Eric Prydz’s closing performance and the special collaboration between BASHKKA and Sally C. The Blaze, performing a DJ set, headlined the festival’s closing day on Sunday.
Hypnotic techno was represented on the IconiK by Yamaha stage by Jeff Mills, Rødhåd and Marrøn, while I Hate Models, SNTS and 999999999 delivered some of the weekend’s most powerful performances. Eric Prydz, CamelPhat, Kevin de Vries, Massano and Miss Monique brought melodic house and melodic techno to the festival.
House and tech house also featured prominently, with performances by Jamie Jones, Luciano, Seth Troxler and Wade, alongside more underground offerings from Shanti Celeste, Chaos in the CBD, PARAMIDA and Yu Su.
The edition also featured live performances by established names from the electronic music scene. Paul Kalkbrenner and Floating Points performed live, while Cassius and Acid Arab delivered their only concerts in Spain during 2026. The line-up also included rare collaborations such as Âme b2b Trikk, Amémé b2b LP Giobbi and BASHKKA b2b Sally C.
The international programme was accompanied by a significant representation of Barcelona’s music scene. Catalan artists and bands including Paula GM, Brieela, INEXXSTABLE, NHYMPH, Mercè, B1N0, Lildami and Flashy Ice Cream reflected the city’s creative momentum and the diversity of its musical output.
The Open Stage by Red Bull celebrated its third edition with a new format, becoming the heart of the festival and one of its main meeting points. The stage hosted 20 emerging DJs selected from more than 1,000 applications submitted through an open call.
The initiative gave a new generation of artists the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of people and reinforced Brunch Electronik’s commitment to emerging talent, diversity and community building.
The fourth edition was spread across six stages: GrooviK, IconiK by Yamaha, Open Stage by Red Bull, HarmoniK, EuphoriK by Estrella Damm and RhythmiK by Resident Advisor.
GrooviK debuted an industrial-inspired design featuring a large circular canopy and a two-level structure that brought artists closer to the audience. IconiK by Yamaha evolved into a large-scale stage combining temporary architecture, technology and a new visual concept.
HarmoniK, EuphoriK by Estrella Damm and RhythmiK returned with renewed programmes. RhythmiK, developed in collaboration with Resident Advisor, brought together established international names and artists from new generations of electronic music.
The technical and organisational improvements introduced in 2026 enhanced sound quality, made it easier to move around the site and expanded the food offering. New rest areas and other measures—including the distribution of complimentary fruit—were also introduced to provide a more comfortable and immersive experience.
In response to the high temperatures, the festival installed four free cold-water hydration points strategically located throughout the site. This continued the initiative introduced at the previous edition, during which 90,000 litres of water were supplied.
The site also featured rest areas with shade, grass and seating, as well as misting systems in walkways and cooling points. A significant proportion of the stages were located in shaded areas or incorporated dedicated sun-protection structures. Fresh fruit was also distributed to attendees free of charge.
Accessibility once again remained a priority. In collaboration with Fundación Music For All, the festival provided resources for people with hearing, visual and mobility impairments, as well as specialised assistance, adapted spaces and the loan of assistive equipment.
As part of its environmental commitments, Repsol returned as the festival’s energy partner and supplied NEXA fuel from 100% renewable sources to power generators and other facilities across the site. This initiative was complemented by the use of reusable cups, waste-reduction measures and the promotion of collective transport.
Official afterparties at four venues—Input, Upload, La Terrrazza and NACAR—extended the experience beyond the main festival site and strengthened its connection with Barcelona’s nightlife and cultural ecosystem.
To facilitate travel to the afterparties and reduce the environmental impact associated with mobility, the organisers provided a free shuttle service from the Fòrum to Poble Espanyol on Friday and Saturday.
The festival experience once again extended beyond the stages. On its second day, music and sport came together for the third consecutive year at Warm-Up Electronik, a functional training session combining cardio and strength exercises.
Led by trainer and influencer Adri López and accompanied by music from local DJ INEXXSTABLE, the activity brought together 200 participants before the festival opened its doors. It reinforced Brunch Electronik’s commitment to creating new experiences around its community.
Families were also able to enjoy Petit Brunch, an initiative that has been associated with the brand for many years and is designed for younger audiences. In 2026, Petit Brunch joined the festival format for the first time, taking place during the second day until 9:00 p.m. and receiving a very positive response from families.
The 2026 edition featured Estrella Damm as its principal sponsor and sponsor of the EuphoriK stage, Yamaha as sponsor of IconiK, and Repsol as its energy partner.
Ron Negrita, Schweppes, Red Bull, Poliakov, Patrón, Taco Bell, Disney+ and Oakberry completed the group of partners that contributed to the experience through a variety of activations held throughout the festival.
After more than a decade of building its community, Brunch Electronik successfully concluded its fourth edition at Parc del Fòrum with 65,000 attendees, an audience that was 80% local, more than 90 artists and a nighttime programme spanning four venues.
These figures consolidated the festival’s status as one of the summer’s leading music events and reinforced a model built around music, culture, innovation and a commitment to Barcelona.
Preparations for the next edition are already underway. Festivalgoers can register here to access Early Bird tickets for 2027, with the presale beginning on 12 August.
