Rod Carrillo and Ron Carroll Present New Single “Lifted in Sound”

Lifted in Sound is a real team effort. The EP’s got 6 tracks, with one original and five remixes, adding up to nearly 40 minutes of pure House Music.

Carrillo Music has officially released “Lifted in Sound,” the latest single from established dance music artists Rod Carrillo and Ron Carroll. The track is available on all major streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Beatport and is already making an impact on various music charts.

The collaboration between Rod Carrillo and Ron Carroll has resulted in “Lifted in Sound,” a track that blends elements from their musical backgrounds. Known for their long-standing contributions to the dance music scene,  and Carroll have crafted a song that reflects their shared vision while highlighting their distinct styles.

“Lifted in Sound” became real when Ron Carroll presented a vocal idea to Rod Carrillo. The concept resonated with Carrillo, leading to an organic studio session where the track was developed. Carrillo drew on Carroll’s background in soulful, church-influenced music, integrating those elements into the composition. The remixes accompanying the original track bring additional layers to the release. Mo’s remix, in particular, introduces a progressive sound that aligns with the track’s inclusion in the Melodic Progressive House chart. Each remix reflects the individual producer’s style, offering diverse listening experiences within the same release.

“The defining moments of my career are the times when I kept going and didn’t listen to outside noise. To keep making the music that I believe in my soul will resonate with people.  I’ve had a lot of defining points, but I can’t point to one – the whole journey has been a great experience”, says Rod Carrillo.

Since its release, “Lifted in Sound” has gained traction on Traxsource, featuring on charts such as Weekend Weapons, Essential House, Hype, and Melodic/Progressive. The track’s early success indicates its broad appeal across different segments of the dance music community.

Rod Carrillo expressed satisfaction with the reception of the track, noting the importance of creating music that moves people and resonates on dance floors. He highlighted the underrepresentation of house music in certain markets and the joy of seeing “Lifted in Sound” embraced by DJs globally.
