Shlømo and Junkie Kid collide on ‘Lights Up’, a high-impact collaboration out June 6 via Shlømo’s own Taapion Records.

A single-track release that doesn’t hold back, ‘Lights Up’ is a peak-time weapon. Propelled by chest-rattling low end, industrial-grade synths and breakneck drums, the track is laced with feverish vocals and a chaotic energy that’s impossible to ignore. Label boss and French techno heavyweight Shlømo is known for his wide sonic palette, from ambient experiments to raw techno pressure, and through his labels Taapion and SAIKE, has become a key tastemaker in the scene. On this release, he links with Mexico’s Junkie Kid, a boundary-pushing producer and the creator of Neo-Hard House, whose unique blend of hardstyle, house and dark melodies has earned him support from the likes of Tiësto, Hardwell, and David Guetta & more.
