A host of exciting new developments are set to shape Abrakadabra’s Summer 2026, further strengthening its position as a leading player in youth tourism on the Romagna Riviera. Since its launch in Riccione in 2021, Abrakadabra has made a tangible contribution to increasing tourist flows and extending the tourism season, catering specifically to young people aged 16 to 25.
The latest initiatives were unveiled during a recent press conference at Riccione’s Palazzo del Turismo, attended by Mattia Guidi, Councillor for Tourism of the City of Riccione; Claudio Montanari, President of Federalberghi Riccione; Luca Cevoli, Director of Federalberghi Riccione; and Gabriele Scatolini, Co-Founder of Abrakadabra Italy.
At the heart of the project is the ABK Card, the initiative’s flagship offering, supported by the Municipality of Riccione and Federalberghi Riccione. Last summer, the card was used by more than 4,500 young visitors, generating over 18,000 hotel overnight stays, with an average stay of four days. The ABK Card provides access to an integrated network of services, exclusive discounts and hotel-and-entertainment packages, meeting the growing demand for organised, safe and high-quality holidays.
The 2026 ABK Card is already available online and will be further enhanced through new partnerships across the local area. Following the successful launch of its all-inclusive offer dedicated to organised and safe youth tourism, Abrakadabra is welcoming several renowned Riccione venues to the project, including Samsara, Opéra and Beach Village, which join existing partners Cocoricò, Peter Pan, Villa delle Rose, Altromondo Studios and Aquafan. Among this year’s key improvements is the expansion of the shuttle bus service connecting participating venues, reducing maximum waiting times to just 10 minutes on each route.
“The growth of the Abrakadabra project and the addition of new partners confirm the strength of the path we have taken and our shared commitment to offering young people an increasingly well-organised and safe experience,” said Gabriele Scatolini, Co-Founder of Abrakadabra Italy. “This expansion demonstrates the project’s ability to bring together expertise, resources and a shared vision around a clear objective: creating meaningful environments where young people can grow, learn and enjoy holidays based on responsible and conscious fun. We will continue to strengthen our network of partners and consistently raise the quality standards of the experiences we offer, always placing the needs of young people and their families at the centre of everything we do.”
Through these initiatives, Abrakadabra reaffirms its commitment to developing structured, sustainable youth tourism that creates value for the local area while further strengthening Riccione’s position as the entertainment capital for new generations.
