David Penn and KPD have joined Kurtis Mantronik for a 2025 update of his 2011 release, ‘Get Down’. Sampling Brick’s 1977 disco hit ‘Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody’, Penn and KPD’s signature production elements shine through. Solid house drums meet a low-slung bassline and feel-good soulful vocals, respectfully elevating and refreshing the original. Bouncy, fun and catchy to match.

Not shy to joining forces, David Penn and KPD previously collaborated on 2020’s ‘Ain’t Got No’ via Club Sweat, garnering over 46 million streams. Penn continuing his taste-maker dominance with stand out performances at Hi Ibiza, Pacha, Ushuaia and Amnesia in Ibiza. The founder of record label Urbana, David Penn has also recently collaborated with household names, Vintage Culture, Wh0, Mason, Mat.Joe, OFFAIAH, CASSIMM, Crusy, St Etienne and more. The upcoming European Summer sees him back performing in Ibiza for Claptone’s The Masquerade, Defected in Croatia and across to ADE for David Penn & Friends.
