Eikenhead, the Ecuadorian producer and DJ known for bridging UK electronic traditions with South American soul, will release his latest EP, Eikenworks 10, on 1 July 2026.
Eikenworks 10 draws from the foundational language of UK electronic music, including peak-hour energetic house and 90s UK synths. It translates that lineage through a distinctly Latin American lens: humid, emotional, and unhurried. As the tenth chapter in an ongoing body of work, the EP stands as Eikenhead’s most assured statement to date.
Across its tracks, classic analog-style synths and warm pad work sit alongside crisp modern drum programming, with arrangements that breathe between euphoria and shadow. It is dancefloor music for listeners, equally at home in a 6am closing set, on a sun-drenched terrace, or through late-night headphones on the way home.
The EP captures a specific feeling: the moment when a club night tilts from peak energy into something more reflective, when feel-good house gives way to something quietly haunted. It understands that joy and melancholy are not opposites, but neighbours.
Eikenhead is a producer and DJ from Ecuador, operating at the intersection of classic UK electronic music and South American rhythmic instinct. Since 2010 he has warmed up for underground figures like Ilario Alicante and Robert James, and later opened across South America for Steve Aoki, Nervo, and many others. His productions are supported internationally by A-Trak, Mr. Belt & Wezol, Tommy Phillips, and a growing list of underground selectors.
His sound fuses classic UK house, weighted basslines, and 90s-era synth textures with Latin percussion and heavy programmed drums, often played live and re-recorded to push the energy past the grid and captivate listeners on the floor.
‘Eikenworks 10’ is available to stream & purchase from July 1st here.
