Amazing news has started to feed across the white isle’s community informing of the very first British Stand Up Comedy Gala this October. The small balearic island is known across the world for it’s annual influence as an important musical stage but equally known to harbour great innovation fuelled by the characters that live and visit each year. The seasons finale of club closings has finally completed and now is the ideal time to weave some alternate entertainment to kickstart the winter months ahead.
The Covent Garden Comedy Club, based in London has chosen to celebrate its 15th successful year by flying four of their favourite and headline Comedians across to the magical island of Ibiza to introduce a very special Gala Show which will take place on Wednesday 25th October at 8.30pm in Es Jardins de Fruitera, in the small but relevant village of Santa Gertrudis. This exciting Ibiza Comedy Gala is prepped to be the first of many forthcoming events hosted by the Covent Garden Comedy Club in Ibiza and the launch at Es Jardins de Fruitera promises to be a sold-out, intimate affair with only a limited 200 tickets available.
Rolling out an all-star line up the laughter will be fuelled by notable industry names Barry Castagnola (Live at the Apollo), Ninia Benjamin (BBC3’s award winning 3 Non blondes), Carey Marx (Slam Channel 4) and Markus Birdman (Time Out London top 10 Comedian 2015), so we expect the tickets to sell out fast and become a very hot commodity within the islands Winter Residents community.
