Seth Troxler – Best Billboards of 2022
No one has mastered the art of poking fun at the music industry quite like Seth. Always injecting a well-needed dose of humour to break up the mundane ‘Techno black’ and sombre DJ press shots, Mr Troxler doesn’t take himself too seriously and continues to push the envelope across his marketing output. His ‘consider it done’ billboards in Ibiza have been by far our favourite this season.
Tale of Us
Recent shows by Tale of Us have been dramatic, intense and nothing short of a cosmic experience for attendees. They have built a brand around their music, but more than anything they have created a signature feeling – whether you are listening to their music, watching them perform, or enjoying the DJs that they bring into the fold.
Don Diablo
Don has been one of the leaders in pushing NFTs within music. Earlier in the year, he announced his plans with the Hexaverse, a first for physical-meets-digital outdoor art with a sculpture in Hong Kong and Shanghai. More recently, Don Diablo’s $1.2 million NFT was displayed alongside works by Basquiat, Banksy and Andy Warhol.
ADE: Amsterdam Dance Event
ADE 2022 catapulted the music industry forward in a big way. This year, organisers focussed on showcasing innovation within the music industry covering topics such as Web3, NFTs, hybrid events, sustainability, consciousness and, of course, music and production.
Ushuaïa Ibiza
When it comes to bringing in the big guns on the White Isle, look no further than Ushuaïa Ibiza. They have been responsible for curating some of the most creative mainstream line-ups on the island, featuring acts such as FISHER, RÜFÜS DU SOL, ARTBAT, Calvin Harris, CAMELPHAT and working with brands such as Tale of Us, Tomorrowland and elrow together with their incredible production, to provide a daytime clubbing experience like no other in Ibiza.
